Pakistan Super League is started from 20 February 2020 by a grand opening match between Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators. Azam Khan performed well from Quetta Gladiators side and as a result, Gladiators won the game easily. The 2nd match of PSL 2020 was started at 03:00 PM on Friday between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi. Karachi Kings won the game easily by ten runs.
Pakistan Cricket Board had made progress in returning cricket in Pakistan after ten years and international cricket banned in Pakistan due to terrorist attacks on the Sri Lanka team in 2009. Pakistan Super League season 5 will be playing in Pakistan in four different cricket stadium. Stadium's names are National Cricket Stadium, Lahore Cricket Stadium, Multan Cricket Stadium and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
